Who's going to win the Super Bowl? How oddsmakers see it shaking down

The Super Bowl is set to get underway this Sunday between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, which means that sports betters will be busy.
This year’s matchup will feature Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs vying for their fourth Super Bowl victory in six years while Jalen Hurts and the Eagles look to avenge their 2023 loss.
At the moment, FanDuel Sportsbook currently has the Chiefs as 1.5-point favourites.

Despite what the odds say about the result, FanDuel is placing the best odds on a pair of Eagles players for anytime touchdown bets. Running back Saquon Barkley sits at -190 to cash in a touchdown during the game, while Hurts has the second-best odds at -115. The highest probability given to a Chiefs player to do the same is Travis Kelce at +125.
Mahomes is the favourite to capture his fourth Super Bowl MVP honour since 2019 at +120, while Barkley is second with +250 odds, and Hurts comes in at third at +370. The next Chiefs player with the highest odds is Kelce at +1200.
When it comes to passing yards, oddsmakers are liking Mahomes’ chances at hitting 250 yards in the big game with odds set at -118. For Hurts, the odds appear to like him hitting 200 passing yards, which is set at -160.
On top of all that, there are also a ton of fun prop bets that are available, including the colour of Gatorade that will be poured on the winning coach as well as whether or not Kelce will propose to Taylor Swift after the game.
Super Bowl LIX will kick off this Sunday at 6:30 pm ET/3:30 PT at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome.
