Environment Canada warns more snow and freezing rain expected for Toronto

Toronto woke up to a blanket of fresh white snow, but that’s not the end of the wintery weather before Christmas.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the City of Toronto, warning of “additional snowfall amounts of 2 to 4 cm are possible today and freezing drizzle is possible today and tonight.”

Motorists are advised to be prepared for poor winter travelling conditions and a particularly slow and messy commute this morning.

Luckily even if the freezing drizzle turns the snow to slush, the prospect for a White Christmas in Toronto is still looking good.
