Waterloo Regional Police are investigating three suspicious fires, within the span of an hour, that were set inside Walmart locations across Kitchener and Waterloo last night.
According to WRPS, at around 9:15 pm on October 20, police were called to the first Walmart in the area of Ottawa Street South and Fischer Hallman Road in Kitchener, after reports of merchandise being set on fire inside the store.
Almost an hour later, at around 10 pm police were also called to a second reported fire inside another Walmart location, at 1005 Ottawa Street North and River Road in Kitchener.
Twenty minutes later, a third fire was reported at around 10:20 pm inside a third Walmart in the area of Bridgeport Road East and Weber Street South in Waterloo.
Investigating after 3 fires were reported at 3 local retail stores last night.
Fires occurred inside stores at:

Waterloo Police confirmed to Daily Hive that all three fires were set in the toilet paper and paper towel aisles in the stores.
Damages were made to the properties however WRPS were unable to confirm the cost of damage at this time.
No injuries were reported, and law enforcement is treating the fires as an arson investigation.
