Toronto is getting a mini-break from good ol’ winter next week.

After a cold start to what will end up being a mild Family Day weekend, The Weather Network is forecasting a high of 11°C on Tuesday. Although there’s rain in the forecast starting Monday through Wednesday, all days are calling for milder temperatures, and a break from our parkas.

By Thursday, the temperatures will drop back to close to freezing, but the sun will also be making a return. The end of the week calls for highs of 1°C for both Thursday and Friday, and no chance of precipitation.

So looks like we’re getting a nice almost-spring-like break next week. Just don’t forget your umbrella.
