Pride month continues in Toronto, and Virtual Parade day has arrived.

Due to COVID-19, Pride Toronto festivities are taking place online this year, and they began at the start of June.

The virtual experience provides a new and creative way to celebrate and showcase the history, courage and diversity of the LGBTQ2S+ community, while also ensuring the safety of Toronto residents and proper social distancing.

And the Virtual Parade is no exception.

“On Sunday, June 28 Pride Toronto will be moving the Virtual Parade to ensure our communities are able to attend the rally and teach-in at Nathan Phillips Square focusing on the defunding of the Police hosted by No Pride in Policing Coalition,” says Pride Toronto.
