Next week, Toronto will host a dramatically juicy affair on King Street West.

Some of the city’s fiercest fried chicken purveyors will come together in the Entertainment District on February 24 for the Ultimate Fried Chicken Battle of the Birdcage.

Here, the deep-fryer masters will compete for the title of Toronto’s best fried chicken.

Tickets for entry to the event, slated for 7 pm at 365 King Street West, are $25, and include one slider from each of the competitors, plus one drink.

Coming out to flex their chicken-frying skills are Tokyo Hot Fried Chicken, The Heart Break Chef, Five Points Hot Chicken, and Chen Chen’s Hot Chicken.
