Udon Kitanoyaâs noodles are made different by their dashi broth.
The broth consists of high-quality ingredients including Japanese kombu and dried tuna, mackerel, sardine, and bonito. The result is a delicate yet full-bodied umami taste, characteristic of authentic udon.
âWe want to show Torontonians the intricacy of a great, authentic bowl of udon. Itâs a staple in many Japanese eateries across the city, but not many know the secret to elevating the dishâ says Benson Lau, the co-owner of Udon Kitanoya, in a press release.
At this eatery, you can look forward to 15 different types of hot and cold udon dishes in a wide range of flavours. Get ready for Niku Udon, Japanese Curry Udon, Butter Garlic Clam, Crab Chili Tomato, and Creamy Mentaiko â a modern take on a traditional dish featuring Japanese spicy cod roe.
Plus, there will be a variety of Japanese snacks.
Get ready to slurp.
