There will be a number of TTC subway stations closed this weekend and into next week, according to the transit commission.

Weekend closures

There will be no service on Line 2, between Woodbine and Kennedy stations on October 3 and 4, due to scheduled track work.

Shuttle busses will be running in place of the subway trains and will be making stops at all TTC subway stations along the route.

All stations will remain open for fare sales and access to Line 3.

The Teesdale Place automatic entrance/exit at Victoria Park Station will be closed.

“Customers needing wheel-trans service will be able to contact any TTC customer service staff member for assistance,” said the TTC.

Next week closures

From October 5 to 8, subway service on Line 1 between Sheppard-Yonge and Eglinton stations will end nightly at 11 pm for tunnel and signal upgrades.

There will be replacement shuttle buses running and stopping at all TTC subway stations along the route, and TTC staff on-hand to direct customers to boarding locations.

In addition to the shuttles, the 97 Yonge bus and the University side of Line 1 will be available as alternatives during the closure.

All stations will remain open for fare sales and access to Line 4.

“The Old York Mills Rd. entrance/exit will be closed at York Mills Station, as well as the automatic entrances/exits at Ranleigh Ave. and Bedford Park Ave. at Lawrence Station,” said the transit commission. “There will be other entrances and exits available at both stations.”
