There will be multiple TTC subway closures on Line 1 this weekend.

According to the TTC, the portion of Line 1 between Sheppard-Yonge and St Clair stations will not be in service on June 20 and 21 to allow Metrolinx crews to continue to work on the Eglinton Crosstown LRT. It’s also to allow for TTC crews to perform track maintenance.

There will be shuttle buses running along Yonge Street which will stop at each station along the route. Customers can board and disembark on Yonge Street at York Mills, Lawrence, Eglinton, and Davisville stations.

At Sheppard-Yonge, customers can disembark in the bus bay and board on Yonge Street outside the station. At St. Clair Avenue East station, customers should board outside of the station on St. Clair.

The 97 Yonge bus and the University side of Line 1 are also available as alternatives during the closure.

The Old Mills Road entrance/exit will be closed at York Mills Station. The automatic entrances/exits at Ranleigh Avenue and Bedford Park Avenue will be closed at Lawrence Station.

All other entrances and exits will be available for customers. All stations will also remain open for PRESTO sales and access to surface routes and Line 4.

“The TTC is committed to keeping customers informed about work and events that impact service and about alternative routes,” the TTC said in a statement.
