There will be TTC closures on portions Line 1 and Line 3 this weekend, June 6 and 7.

This Saturday, there will be no subway service on the portion of Line 1 between the Lawrence and Bloor-Yonge subway stations. This closure is due to the installation and testing of the ATC signalling system.

According to the TTC, shuttle buses will be running frequently and will stop at each station along the route. TTC will also have staff at hand to direct customers to shuttle boarding and offloading stations. The boarding and offloading locations will vary from station to station.

The 97 Yonge bus and the University side of Line 1 will also be available as alternatives, in addition to the shuttle buses.

Summerhill station will be closed but all other stations will remain open. The opened stations will still be providing PRESTO fare sales and access to surface routes and Line 2.

TTC has said that customer service staff members will be available for assistance for customers requiring Wheel-Trans.

On Sunday, there will be two simultaneous closures for track maintenance. These closures will occur on the portion of Line 1 between Finch and Eglinton stations, as well as on Line 3.

Due to Sunday’s Line 1 closure, shuttle buses will also be running and stop at each station along the way. There will also be customer service staff members available Sunday for those who require Wheel-Trans.

The 97 Yonge bus and the University side of Line 1 will again be available.

North York Centre Station will be closed but all other stations will remain open.

The Hullmark entrance/exit will be closed at Sheppard Station. The Old York Mills Road entrance/exit will be closed at York Mills Station. The automatic entrances/exits at Ranleigh Avenue and Bedford Park Avenue will also be closed at Lawrence Station.

Other entrances and exits will be available at each subway station.

Shuttle buses will run between Kennedy and Scarborough Centre stations, to provide alternative transit due to the Line 3 closure.

Ellesmere, Midland, and McCowan stations will be closed on Sunday.
