TTC subway train vandalized with "vile anti-Black racist graffiti"
Toronto Police are investigating after anti-Black graffiti was found on a TTC subway train.
According to TTC’s Stuart Green, “a TTC Line 2 train was vandalized with vile anti-Black racist graffiti in a clear hate crime” on Friday.
He said the train was taken out of service when it was found.
While there were no cameras on the car, Green said the TTC has witnesses.
“We have witnesses and suspect descriptions that will be fully investigated because #BlackLivesMattter,” he wrote on Twitter.
Police told Daily Hive that the TTC reported the vandalism last night, and that photos were sent to police.
