Everything you need to know about the TTC's holiday service

As Toronto continues its lockdown, and with Christmas and New Year’s around the corner, a modified TTC holiday schedule has been released.

Here’s what the TTC’s schedule looks like over the next week:

Christmas Day – Friday, December 25
– Regular Sunday service
– Subway service and most routes start at 8 am.

Boxing Day – Saturday, December 26
– Holiday service schedule
– Subway service and most routes start at 6 am.

Sunday, December 27
– Regular Sunday service
– Subway service and most routes start at 8 am.

Monday, December 28, to Wednesday, December 30
– Regular weekday service

New Year’s Eve – Thursday, December 31
– Regular weekday service

“Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, restrictions on social gatherings and government-mandated orders to limit non-essential travel, the TTC will not be offering free transit service this New Year’s Eve,” said the TTC.

“Customers should note that although subway service will not run all night, the TTC’s regular overnight routes will continue as usual.”

New Year’s Day – Friday, January 1, 2021
– Regular Sunday service
– Subway and most routes start at 8 am.

Regular TTC service will resume on Saturday, January 2, 2021.
