If you’ve ever wanted to travel to the future, the Toronto Zoo might be your best means of getting there.

While seeming like an unlikely host for time travel, the city’s zoo is bringing back its popular night walk, TerraLumina, which will transport you to the year 2099.

Starting August 14, the 1.5 kilometre walk which occurs after nightfall, takes you to the “luminescent wonders of the year 2099, a time when humans and nature have learned to live in harmony.”

“Let yourself be transported by vibrant lighting, multimedia effects, breathtaking video projections and an original score to an enchanted world filled with possibility. And explore this bright and hopeful future to reveal the powerful secrets of tomorrow,” the event site reads.

It’s important to note that health measures are strongly in effect, with the organizers asking individuals who have any symptoms of COVID-19 to not attend.

When on the walk, participants must keep two meters apart if not from the same household. There is also to be frequent hand washing at stations and face masks are to be worn at all times.

The event starts August 14 and tickets are currently on sale.
