A blast of milder December weather is hitting Toronto on Monday, as the high is expected to reach 9°C.

According to Environment Canada, it’s currently 3°C in Toronto and sunny.

As the afternoon rolls in, so will some clouds, along with wind picking up to about 40 km/hr later this afternoon.

But the high is expected to reach 9°C.

The warm weather won’t stick around too long, as it is expected to drop to -4°C in Toronto overnight, according to Environment Canada.

The windchill will also make it colder, and will feel like -9°C.

The cold will be returning by Tuesday with a high reaching only 0°C for Christmas Eve day.

As for Christmas Day, well, it will be a high of 5°C and there is no snow in sight.
