A "cool front" moves into Toronto for the Thanksgiving long weekend

The first long weekend of fall is upon us, and the weather looks decent for the most part.

According to the Weather Network, Toronto will generally be hovering around the 15°C mark, although some rain is expected.

While Friday will be sunny with a high of 17°C, most of us may still be in the office during the day. Luckily, the evening temperatures will remain on the milder side, with a low of 12°C expected.

The Weather Network forecast calls for a “cool front” through southern Ontario on Saturday, which threatens the province with showers for most of the day. The temperature is expected to reach a high of 14°C.

“The good news is that the front isn’t likely to bring a blast of frosty air with it, leaving afternoon temperatures right around seasonal — in the low-to-mid teens — through the weekend,” said The Weather Network.

It suggests saving the outdoor activities this weekend to Sunday and Monday, which will offer better weather.

Both days are expected to reach a high of 15°C, but the night time lows will get colder.
