Late night TTC maintenance causing several closures next week
If you’re planning on hopping on TTC’s Line 1 after a late-night next week, start planning ahead.
Subway service on Line 1 between Lawrence and Bloor-Yonge stations will close nightly at 11 pm next week on Monday through Thursday, September 16 to 19, as TTC crews continue installation of the Automatic Train Control (ATC) signalling system.
The TTC says shuttle buses will run along Yonge Street, stopping at each station along the route.
Summerhill Station will close, but all other stations will remain open for fare sales and access to surface routes.

Shuttle bus loading and offloading locations will vary from station to station and TTC staff will be on hand to direct customers and answer questions.
Additionally, Wheel-Trans will be available upon request from any station and customers can speak with a TTC staff member for more information about service frequency.
