Smirnoff is releasing Toronto-themed bottles to celebrate The Six

As one of the most multicultural cities in the world, Toronto is a unique blend of Canadians (and new Canadians) from across the country all choosing to call The Six home.

From the wide range of cultures celebrated across the city, to the grand mix of personalities (do you have more of a Kensington Market or a Bay Street vibe?), there’s nowhere on Earth quite like it. And that’s because of the people that come together to make Toronto what it is — even when temperatures drop to –20°C.

As a whole, Canada stands as a shining example of openness in a world that can feel more and more closed off. Inclusivity is worth celebrating, right? And Smirnoff believes this, that’s why they’re raising a glass to Canadians, new and old, from all backgrounds, to celebrate the very reasons why they’re proud to call Canada home.

In Toronto, this could be because your family is here, you’ve met amazing friends, or you’ve found a dream job. On top of that you could enjoy your commute in peace, escape to cottage country once winter is over, or go to a new restaurant every night for a year and never run out of options.

In celebration of the diversity and multiculturalism prevalent throughout the city we call home, Smirnoff created limited edition local bottles of Smirnoff as a testament to our amazing Canadian communities. That’s right, get ready to raise a glass to Torontonians everywhere to celebrate the tapestry of our community through inclusivity and openness.

On that note, you can say cheers to the celebs who have been born or raised in our fine city: Drake, The Weeknd, Mike Myers, Jim Carrey, and Keanu Reeves. Because, why not?

Smirnoff hopes to continue to bring people from all cultures and traditions together. The campaign highlights the fun-loving spirit at the heart of Canada’s culture, inspired by those living here — AKA you.

To celebrate the launch of the Toronto-themed bottles of Smirnoff and the uniqueness of Canada, we’ve included a Toronto-inspired cocktail recipe that you can craft right at home.
