12 snaps of the stunning sunrise in Toronto this morning (PHOTOS)

The week is off to a great start.

Not only is the temperature expected to soar to 16°C today, but Toronto was woken on Monday morning by an absolutely gorgeous sunrise.

The sky was bathed in tones of orange, pink, and purple as the sun came up — closer to 7 am, thanks to Daylight Saving time — and the city basked in the warm glow of the rising sun.
