The intersection of King and Spadina just turned up the heat.

Baro, nestled into the heart of the Fashion District, is about to take your taste buds south – far south.

Beyond the sharable ceviches, sitting amongst the mains, you will find decadent Duck Enchiladas. Read: Duck confit with salsa and poblano cream, wrapped in corn tortillas, topped with swiss cheese and pickled red onion.

If melty, gooey, cheesy goodness doesn’t strike your fancy, skip down to the Caribbean Coco Cod. Stewed with mussels and shrimp, served over coconut rice with plantain, this order will warm your belly and soul.

The South American flavours that Baro brings to the table are inspired by Columbia, Argentina, and Uruguay. Opt for fajitas, fish, or even pasta! Your carb-y cravings can be satisfied by the Cavatelli, made with corn smut, truffle, rapini and cream.

The new items are as beautiful as they are flavourful, and it’ll almost be a shame to devour them. But we’re going to do it anyway.
