Toronto absolutely smashed its previous snowfall record yesterday

In what should come as no surprise to anyone living in Toronto, it snowed in the city on Monday.

A. Lot.

In fact, it snowed so much Toronto smashed its previous snowfall record for November 11, previously set in 1983.

Back then, over 35 years ago, 3 cm fell across the city, while yesterday, a whopping 13.6 cm landed on Toronto.

Combined with alerts of all kinds, and cancellations at Pearson Airport, yesterday was a long one for anyone living in Ontario.

Meanwhile, temperatures are expected to dip tonight, leaving the city feeling like -20°C.

It is currently -9°C in Toronto and feels like -15°C with the windchill. A chance of flurries is possible throughout the day and overnight.
