While the rain storm over the weekend may have tricked us into thinking early spring is on the way, it really isn’t. In fact, snow is on its way back to Toronto.

And a lot of it.

It’s currently -2°C in Toronto, and will drop to -7°C by Friday. And while some flurries are expected from Monday through Wednesday, it looks like accumulation won’t happen until the weekend.

According to The Weather Network’s 7 day outlook, Friday will be mainly sunny, but the 24 hour snowfall prediction is 1 to 3 cm.

Saturday is when the snow really hits the city again.

The high is forecasted to be 0°C, and they are predicting 5 to 10 cm of snow.

As we head into the third week of January, we will see temperatures hover around -4°C and -8°C on Sunday and Monday, but wind chills will be getting colder.

Expect it to feel like -15°C to kick off the start of next week.

For now, Tuesday and Wednesday this week are going to be 3°C, so enjoy the mild weather while it lasts and prepare yourself for the inevitable cold.
