Wiarton Willie couldn’t have been more accurate when he forecasted six more weeks of winter.

Toronto is not only going to have below freezing temperatures all weekend, the city is also going to be blanketed in snow.

To be more specific, up to 25 cm of snow.

Early this morning, Environment Canada issued a Special Weather Statement for Toronto, as the city is expected to get anywhere from 4 to 10 cm of snow.

But that’s not all…

The Weather Network has forecasted that more periods of snow will impact Toronto on both Saturday and Sunday.

The forecast shows that Toronto can expect up to 5 cm of snow on Saturday and between 5 to 10 cm of snow on Sunday.

That means over the course of the weekend, we could see nearly 25 cm of snow if the maximum amount of snowfall for each day is reached.

So say goodbye to arctic-like temperatures and get ready to see Toronto turn into a snowy winter wonderland!
