These are the Toronto bars and restaurants celebrities have been loving during TIFF 2025

TIFF 2025 hit the streets of Toronto with a bang this weekend, and here are the restaurants the stars have been flocking to.
Parties, press junkets and fly-by spottings have been the name of the game for Toronto since the Toronto International Film Festival’s 50th anniversary season officially kicked off on Thursday, Sept. 4.
While most folks are more focused on what the stars are doing on the silver screen, we want to know where they’re eating, and we’re sure we’re not the only ones.
That’s why we’ve compiled a list of the Toronto bars and restaurants that have proven most popular among this year’s crop of A-listers so far this season, so that you, too, can eat and drink like you just walked the red carpet.

The TIFF Lightbox might be the official heart of the film festival, but if we could name a second runner-up, it would be Vinny, the recently opened King West vinyl bar.
One of the latest in Toronto hospitality super group INK Entertainment’s impressive fleet, the bar has been home to a slew of after-parties during the festival, welcoming the likes of Sydney Sweeney, Charli xcx, Maude Apatow (with parents Leslie Mann and Judd Apatow in tow), and even Angelina Jolie over the weekend.

Oh, look! Charli xcx is here, too. How lucky are we?
This time for the premiere of Roman Gavras’ star-studded Sacrifice, the British star was accompanied by Andrew Scott, Paul Mescal, Chris Evans, and Anya Taylor-Joy, to name only a few, at the Richmond West American eclectic restaurant.

Another recent addition to the INK Entertainment fleet, this already buzzworthy American Italian restaurant on the top floor of the ambitious Portland Square has already attracted some stars.
Shailene Woodley and Ben Foster checked the restaurant out at the after-party for their new film, Motor City, while an inside source tells Dished Toronto that James McAvoy also swung by for drinks and nibbles late Sunday evening.

It almost goes without saying at this point that this Entertainment District Thai restaurant is the celebrity hotspot to end them all in Toronto — TIFF 50 has proved it once again.
Aziz Ansari, social media star Jordan Howlett, and Superstore‘s Lauren Ash have all been snapped at the restaurant since the festival kicked off.

For a second year running, the Toronto location of this globally renowned Greek fine dining chain has offered itself up as a home base for all manner of TIFF spectacles.
On Sunday, Sept. 7, the restaurant saw Leo Woodall, Rami Malek, Russell Crowe, John Slattery, James Vanderbilt, and Richard E. Grant sample seafood amid its opulent interiors at the premiere party for Vanderbilt’s Nuremberg.

With a name like that, it’s no surprise that the stars have been flocking to this under-the-radar King West lounge, which has been transformed into the Campari Cinema Centre for the festival.
Big names like Dylan Sprouse and Josh Duhamel have both been spotted sipping cocktails and diving into the Toronto nightlife scene so far.
