These two-bedroom condos in Toronto are on the market for under $600K
It looks like now might be the time to invest in a two-bedroom apartment, as prices have dropped substantially in the GTA during the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to Strata, prices have dropped by $60,000 on average over the last year.
“The 2-bedroom market has been hit particularly hard during the pandemic — down $60,000 on average over the past year. That’s because buying power is declining and pushing a lot of homebuyers into lower price points,” Robert Van Rhijn, a broker at Strata.ca, said in a statement to Daily Hive.
“You can now find some decent 2 bedroom options under $600,000 in the downtown core. That just wasn’t possible a year ago.”
Now, two-bedroom apartments are at a lower price than normal, with listings under $600,000 for sale in and around Toronto. Here are nine of the listings compiled by Strata.
