Raptors to begin allowing fans back at "home" games in Tampa
The Toronto Raptors could have a bit more of a home-court advantage again.
The team announced today that, starting on March 19 against the Utah Jazz, 3,500 fans will be allowed back at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.

On January 9, fans were no longer permitted to attend Raptors home games at Amalie Arena due to a “sharp” uptick of COVID-19 cases in the Tampa area. Since then, there have been no fans at Raptors “home” games.
The team also announced that there will be new enhanced public safety measures upon fans’ return to games. This includes an increased frequency in cleaning seats, handrails and bathrooms, signage, and more physical distancing measures to assure six-foot separation, a limited number of people in the elevator and ultra-violet disinfectant lights at various locations throughout the arena, including escalator handrails.
Masks will continue to be required throughout the arena when people are not eating or drinking, and mobile ticketing will be required for entry.
Tickets for the 18 remaining Raptors home games will go on sale to the general public on March 11.
