The annual Friends of Toronto Public Library Chapter’s Clearance Book Sale scheduled for this month has been cancelled.

The event, which was supposed to take place at the Toronto Reference Library on March 19, has been called off due to staffing issues.

An update was posted to the organization’s website on Thursday, encouraging those who would still like to snag some discounted books to visit one of The Friends of TPL’s Bookends used book stores.

Information about the organization’s Fall Clearance Sale, planned for September, can be found on Facebook and online.
