A man has died following a shooting near the CNE grounds on Sunday evening.
According to Toronto Police, multiple gunshots were heard at Coronation Park at 711 Lake Shore Blvd West just after 6 pm.
The shots were from inside the park near the baseball diamond.
Police arrived at the scene to find a victim suffering from serious injuries as a result of the gunshot wounds. He succumbed to his injuries soon after, and the homicide squad was called in to investigate.

Four suspects were scene running from the scene, although the descriptions provided are vague.
One suspect was wearing a grey Nike hoodie with a black stripe on the chest.
The area was closed to the public following the shooting, but the CNE remained open.
“We have been notified by Toronto Police Service that an incident occurred this evening near the Exhibition Place grounds. We will remain open,” said the CNE in a statement. “As part of our standard protocol, we continue to make the safety of our visitors a priority.”
