Toronto police identify man killed in daylight shooting at Walmart parking lot

Toronto police have identified the man killed in a daylight shooting in a Walmart parking lot on Thursday afternoon.

On Friday, the police identified the deceased man as Andre Rodriguez, 26, of Toronto.

“Homicide investigators are appealing to anyone who knows Andre Rodriguez, and has been in contact with him over the past week, to contact police,” the release said.

On September 10, at 1:42 pm officers responded to a shooting in the St. Clair Avenue and Mould Avenue area.

It is reported that officers arrived at the scene and located a man suffering from a gunshot wound in a parking lot.

Paramedics attempted “life-saving measures” but the man succumbed to his injuries.

“Anyone who was driving in the area of St. Clair Avenue and Mould Avenue at 1 pm to 2 pm, on Thursday, September 10, 2020, with a dashcam, is also asked to contact police to obtain the video from their car,” the released added.
