Calling all art lovers: Canada’s leading contemporary outdoor art fair will soon be here.

Set to take place at Nathan Phillips Square from July 12 to 14, the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair is back for its 58th year, bringing together over 360 artists and makers of different backgrounds and disciplines.

Lasting all weekend long, the event promises to create a space where artists and art lovers can interact and collaborate.

You can look forward to original work from over 360 contemporary artists that were chosen out of 800 applicants and reviewed by a jury of artists and industry professionals.

The best part? The event is totally free to attend and open to everyone.

But there’s more on the agenda than just incredible art.

Visitors can also look forward to art tours and talks, the ‘Budding Art Buyers’ booth, which will be led by esteemed designer, Tiffany Pratt.

This initiative caters to young art lovers, 14-years-old and under, inviting them to purchase quality art priced at $10-$20 that are donated by TOAF participating artists.

Another exciting feature to look forward to will be an immersive installation by Chason Yeboah, who is the winner of the 2017 Founding Chairman’s Award and a Toronto artist to watch.

Yeboah will be creating an immersive crochet installation for the public to take refuge from the pressures of our world.

And as you could imagine, exploring the square will surely leave you feeling parched, which is why Henderson Brewing Co. is bringing back its Cascading Beer Garden.

Carrying on with tradition, Henderson Brewing Co. will be brewing a custom craft beer and offering a collectible label designed by Kima Lenaghan, winner of the 2018 Best of Student Award.

A large sculpture will be installed in the Beer Garden by Jonathon Anderson Studio, representing a conceptual metaphor for the unparalleled strength of unwalled humanity that is diverse yet inclusive.
