St. Patrick’s Day is going to be sunny and warm(ish) in Toronto

Toronto, we are just days away from St.Patrick’s Day.

And in the days leading up to everyone’s favourite Irish holiday, most people are finalizing their plans and what ridiculous green getup they’ll wear.

Over the past few years, Toronto hasn’t been that lucky when it comes to the weather on St. Patrick’s Day.

It’s typically been overcast and rainy or extremely chilly with flurries, which results in everyone drinking (even more) to stay warm.

This year, however, Toronto can look forward to mild temperatures and sunshine, which is ideal for anyone that’s going to a party or event with an outside component.

March 17

On Saturday, March 17, you can look forward to a high of 5°C and plenty of sunshine.

We know what you’re thinking, this is hardly beach weather, but it’s definitely an improvement from what we’ve been experiencing recently.

Plus, it’ll be significantly warmer when you’re stuck waiting in line to get in to that big event.

So this Saturday, leave your parkas and touques at home, and have a safe and happy St.Patrick’s Day!
