How much Toronto Maple Leafs playoff tickets cost for Game 7 on Sunday night

Instead of folding after an ugly effort in Game 5, the Toronto Maple Leafs were able to pick up a 2-0 win on Friday to force a Game 7 versus the Florida Panthers.

It was a gutsy win for the Leafs, who were able to leave Amerant Bank Arena with a 2-0 victory in a win-or-go-home game. They’ve restored a ton of confidence amongst their fan base, some of whom will be looking to get their hands on some tickets for Game 7 on Sunday evening.

Getting those tickets, however, won’t come cheap.

The only seats left up for grabs on Ticketmaster are resale tickets, and they are going for some pretty crazy prices. In fact, the cheapest tickets that remain up for grabs, which are in section 601, are going for $518.15. The next cheapest available are going for north of $650.

Fans wanting to sit in the lower bowl will really need to prepare to empty their wallets, as the cheapeast available are going for $1,023.05, while a number of others are listed at north of $5,000.

These prices are quite ridiculous, but are what we’ve come to expect for NHL playoff games in Canada. Fans north of the border are an extremely passionate bunch, with many willing to pay any price necessary in order to watch their team in action, particularly in a game with this much magnitude.

Sunday’s game will present this core of the Maple Leafs with their first opportunity to advance to the Eastern Conference Final, something the organization hasn’t done since 2002. Suffice to say, those who will be in Scotiabank Arena to witness it are going to make it a very loud and difficult building for the defending Stanley Cup champions to play in.
