22 incredible photos from the opening weekend of the Toronto Light Fest

Jan 22 2018, 9:44 pm

The second annual Toronto Light Fest is back bigger than ever.

And for 45 days, this free to attend festival is filling the Distillery District with light.

This year, visitors can enjoy close to 25 sculptures and installations spaced throughout the District, each composed of different elements including fire and iridescent, fluorescent and LED lights.

And to help visitors really enjoy the festival this year, Daily Hive and the Toronto Light Fest want to send one visitor on the ultimate Toronto staycation.

All you have to do is take a few shots of your favourite installations and share it with us by using the hashtag #DailyTOLightFest.

The winner will not only receive a one night stay at the Fairmont Royal York, but also dinner at a Distillery Restaurant (Cluny Bistro, Pure Spirits, El Catrin, or Archeo) and $250 cash. Click here for full contest details.

In case you didn’t have a chance to make it to the opening weekend of the light festival, here are 22 incredible photos to show you what you missed out on.
