Enchanting photos from this weekend's Bloor-Yorkville Icefest

This past weekend, Toronto’s Yorkville Village transformed into an icy medieval world, as part of the 13th annual Icefest.

Enchanting ice sculptures comprised of more than 70,000 lbs of crystal clear ice were put on display at the family-friendly event with the 2018 theme being medieval times.

Visitors were greeted with frozen sculptures inspired by the chivalry, rivalry, and revelry of the middle ages, including an 11th-century castle complete with knights on-guard and majestic thrones.

If you were unable to attend the icy spectacle, here’s everything you missed from this year’s Icefest.
