A wise wizard once said that happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.

Though Dumbledore is fictional, his sentiment is true, and it’s one that hotels across Toronto are embracing amid the current COVID-19 pandemic.

The Hilton hotel lit up its windows in the shape of hearts to support frontline workers just days ago, and now, the Fairmont Royal York and the Sheraton are doing the same.

In fact, the Fairmont is extending their support to healthcare workers even further, through partnerships with several healthcare foundations that provide a “home away from home” for those who need one right now while working.

If home for you is outside of the downtown core, and you haven’t had a chance to catch the beautiful gesture by these hotels, here’s a glimpse at the sweetness:

The loving action is taking place across Canada, as Vancouver has also seen multiple hotels in the city lighting up messages of love as a symbol of appreciation.

We’re all in this together.
