You can get paid to scare the hell out of people at Canada's Wonderland this fall

If you have an affinity for scaring people, Canada’s Wonderland is looking to grow its roster of monsters, vampires and zombies for this year’s Halloween Haunt.

This month, Canada’s Wonderland is hosting multiple job fairs and inviting applicants to apply to join its hordes of terrifying actors.

Positions for dancers, singers and show hosts are also available for Haunt’s live performances, as well as show hosts and characters for the children’s event Camp Spooky.

Auditions and job fairs will be held at the park at 1 Amusement Drive, Vaughan, ON in the Human Resources building.

Job fair and audition dates:

  • Haunt Job Fair: Saturday, September 15, 10 am to 3 pm
  • Performer auditions: Sunday, September 16, 3 pm registration
  • Haunt Job Fair: Tuesday, September 18, 4 pm to 7 pm
  • Haunt Job Fair: Saturday, September 22, 10 am to 3 pm
  • Haunt Job Fair: Monday, September 24, 4 pm to 7 pm

There’s no experience necessary for the monster positions, however, you must have the ability to scare.

In order to apply for a monster position, you must be at least 17-years-old and at least 15-years-old to apply to be a show performer.

Halloween Haunt runs from 7 pm to midnight on select dates between September 29 and October 31 and features hundreds of monsters, nine haunted mazes, three sinister live shows and six thrilling scare zones.

Camp Spooky is a daytime, family event running on weekends beginning September 29, where kids can enjoy scare-free Halloween activities including mazes, trick-or-treating, foam pits and live shows with Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the Peanuts Gang.
