A giant Garlic Festival takes place in Toronto this weekend (VIDEO)
It might be called ‘the stinking rose,’ but this plant is far from just a smelly sidekick.
Garlic is a household staple; it’s what gives food a delicious aroma, crave-ability, and bite.
And next month, The Toronto Garlic Festival celebrates this year’s local harvest and all its goodness.

The annual event has Ontario farmers and local chefs getting together to cook with garlic, and visitors can taste delicious garlic-themed dishes prepared by chefs and paired with Ontario wine and craft beer.
Admission is $5, while kids under 12 get in for free.
The festival includes live music, film screenings, talks and demos, free garlic shots, and the Garlic Breath Contest.
Just don’t forget to bring mints!
