7 Toronto food festivals taking place this weekend

There’s no shortage of things to do see and eat in Toronto this weekend.

Outdoor festivals are on across the city so you can sip wine on the waterfront, take down tacos at Ontario Place, treat Dad to BBQ and beers, or follow the food trucks to Vaughan.

Here are all the food events happening over the weekend; June 16-18

Taste of Toronto


Among the mouthwatering things-to-do at this festival: cooking classes, mixologist demos, pop-up restaurants from influential Toronto chefs, and a marketplace stocked with assorted delicacies.

Strawberry Festival

Now in its fifth year, the Baby Point Gates Strawberry Festival is a charity event benefiting SickKids, that will surely satisfy seasonal cravings. Held on Saturday, June 17, the outdoor festival will bring together 17 local merchants to each serve up strawberry-centric treats for a $2 donation.
