Dust off your cowboy boots – the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair is returning to Toronto this fall. Now in its 95th year, The Royal features the best in agriculture, food, and equestrian competitions from across the country. Save your appetite for lots of fudge, peameal bacon sandwiches, and local cheese samples.

When: On now until November 12
Where: Enercare Centre, 210 Princes’ Boulevard, Toronto
Tickets: General admission adult tickets are $27.50, $20 for seniors, $16 for youth and free admission for children three and younger.

Chocolate High Tea

Weekends in November are sweeter than ever when the OMNI King Edward hosts this special Chocolate Tea Menu featuring chocolate ganache tarts topped with chestnut chantilly, white chocolate pumpkin chai cheesecake, chocolate orange scones and so much more. A portion of the proceeds supports Gilda’s Club Greater Toronto and the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

An Evening in Iceland

Prove it. Do: Pie, an Apple Pie Contest is being hosted by the Trinity Bellwoods BIA to raise funds for the Fort York Food Bank and the contest is open to anyone for a participation fee of $10, while spectators can bid on the top three winning pies or buy a slice for $5.
