Toronto is about to experience the first below freezing temperatures of the season and with it comes a chance of flurries.

After a milder kick off to fall, Environment Canada is forecasting two nights of below 0Ā°C temperatures in Toronto.

Tuesday night will hover just above freezing levels at 1Ā°C, following a rainy day and a high of 7Ā°C.

Wednesday is expected to be mainly cloudy, clearing early in the afternoon, and reaching a high of 11Ā°C. Night time temperatures will reach 2Ā°C.

By Thursday, showers return and while the high will be 8Ā°C, there’s a chance for flurries that evening. The low is expected to be -3Ā°C.

Another evening of negative temperature follows on Friday night, with a low of -2Ā°C after a sunny day and a high of 6Ā°C.

An early look at Halloween has a mix of sun and clouds with a high of 9Ā°C. And for those safe indoor celebrations, expect a chance of showers that night and 5Ā°C.

Grab those coats, winter is almost here.
