The prettiest flower market in Toronto returns this weekend

Sep 12 2019, 7:20 pm

As we near the end of summer in the city, there are still a few more chances to check out the Toronto Flower Market.

Now in its seventh year, the Flower Market will pop up again this Saturday, taking over the park outside of CAMH on Queen West.

While we transition to fall, the last burst of warm weather has brought dahlia season, which means market stalls will be filled with a large range of dahlia varieties, colours, and sizes.

Additional seasonal blooms on display this weekend will include lisianthus, cosmos, zinnia, scabiosa, rudbeckia, sunflowers, gerbera daisy, and unique orchid varieties grown by Crystal Star Orchids.

Plus, there will be seedlings and spring bulbs for planting in home gardens.

This year there will be a number of vendors, some old and some new, including local growers, florists, and craftspeople for you to admire and take home their gorgeous blooms and wares.
