The gorgeous annual Toronto Flower Market is going digital

Apr 24 2020, 5:17 pm

Everything is strange, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get to enjoy the sight of gorgeous flowers and floral arrangements this spring.

Returning for its eighth year, the Toronto Flower Market will be kicking off digitally this time around, going live online on May 2.

Just in time for Mother’s Day, you’ll be able to shop the market from 10 am to 3 pm, and deliveries will go out throughout the week of May 4.

This season, the event’s founder spent weeks prepping an online marketplace that’ll allow for a user-friendly flower-shopping experience.

As a bonus, the market will be hosting Instagram Live programming throughout the day, including conversations with city growers, still-life photographers, and florists, a greenhouse tour, and activities geared towards the kiddos.

Vendors are prepped and ready to share all of their locally-grown spring blooms, like daffodils, hyacinth, muscari, ranunculus, and oh so many tulips.

Plus, there will be seedlings and spring bulbs for planting in home gardens.
