More Toronto flights identified with confirmed coronavirus cases

The Canadian government has identified four more international and domestic Toronto flights with positive COVID-19 cases.

According to the government flight log, Air Canada flight AC873 from Frankfurt to Toronto had a confirmed case of coronavirus on September 4; however, affected rows are unknown.

That same day, another Air Canada flight AC1255 from Kingston to Toronto also had a confirmed case, with affected rows identified as 27 to 33.

As for trips within Canada, more flights from Toronto were identified to have the virus on board.

On September 4, a West Jet flight WS662 from Calgary to Toronto identified a positive case in affected rows 23 to 29.

The same day, an Air Canada flight AC195, this time from Toronto to Victoria, also found rows 1 to 4 most at risk of the virus.

“If you have recently returned to Canada, you must quarantine for 14 days from the date you arrived in Canada. This is mandatory, whether or not you have symptoms,” the government’s website reads.
