Toronto's Fair in the Square returns this weekend

Dec 3 2019, 1:00 pm

This holiday market in the heart of Toronto is back for the season to bring Christmas cheer to the city in support of a good cause.

Holiday Fair in the Square, in support of Epilepsy Toronto, is back and bigger than ever this year at Nathan Phillips Square from December 7 to 23.

The Fair in the Square is a holiday market where you can find the perfect gift, combined with a festive holiday fair, with something for everyone to enjoy.

The weather outside may be frightful, but if you brave the cold to celebrate the season, there will be a fireside lounge where you can warm up in the heart of the Artisan village, or at the Polar Point bar with mulled wine or other delicious seasonal beverages.

Along with the vendors, there will be over 20 tasty food options from spots all over the city.

Festival goers can expect a carousel right in the middle of Nathan Phillips Square, as well as carollers, stilt-walkers throughout the week, and visits with Santa every weekend.

“It’s amazing to see how Toronto has embraced Holiday Fair in the Square as a new Christmas tradition,” said Geoff Bobb, executive director of Epilepsy Toronto.

“People love to have lots of fun around the holidays, and know that by attending, they are supporting 40,000 people living with epilepsy in our community.”

This festive fair is a holiday event you don’t want to miss.
