It’s going to be a dreary day in Toronto, but that shouldn’t stop you from heading outside and checking out some of the awesome events happening throughout the city.

The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair

What: The ten-day festival will feature 5,000 animals, 120 agricultural competitions, artisan goods and exhibits, food sampling, giant vegetables, local wines and beers, live performances, restaurants, pubs, and North America’s premier indoor equestrian event, The Royal Horse Show.

When: On now until November 11
Time: 9 am to 9 pm
Where: Exhibition Place, 100 Princes’ Boulevard, Toronto
Price: General admission adult tickets are $27.50, $20 for seniors, $16 for youth and free admission for children three and younger

Indie Week 2018

What: Indie Week is celebrating its 15th year, bringing together Canada’s top artists at over 25 venues in just six days. Along with artist showcases, Indie Week hosts the Indie101 Music + Tech Conference with industry leaders and over 80 speakers and much more.

Lunchtime Yoga at Sony Centre

What: Come and work up a sweat while you spend your lunch hour stretching, twisting, breathing at a free yoga class at the Sony Centre this month. Classes run Tuesday and Thursday.

Time: 12 pm to 1 pm
Where: The Sony Centre for  the Performing Arts, 1 Front Street East

Free Barre Fitness Classes

What: If you want to try a fun new way to break a sweat, the Sony Centre is offering free barre fitness classes this month. Barre fitness classes are a blend of Pilates, dance, cardio and core strength training, that will help you reshape your body as you work up a sweat in a high energy and fun class set to music.

When: November 6
Time: 6 pm to 7 pm
Where: The Sony Centre for  the Performing Arts, 1 Front Street East

What: Hometown icon The Weeknd is performing a very exclusive concert this evening alongside fellow Torontonian Nav, and Bryston Tiller and The Neighbourhood. This is a 19+ event and a valid ID is required.
