Social Media Week Toronto

What: Social Media Week is back in Toronto this week and it’s hosting a number of great speakers and activations with a focus on mental health, cannabis, social good, the #metoo movement and much more. Look forward to the likes of Hannah Alper, The Sorry Girls (Canadian DIY YouTube sensation), Goldie Chan (the Oprah of LinkedIn), Chris Boddy, leaders from LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and many more on hand to talk about all things social media.

Lunchtime Yoga at Sony Centre

What: Come and work up a sweat while you spend your lunch hour stretching, twisting, breathing at a free yoga class at the Sony Centre this month. Classes run Tuesday and Thursday.

Free Barre Fitness Classes

What: If you want to try a fun new way to break a sweat, the Sony Centre is offering free barre fitness classes this month. Barre fitness classes are a blend of pilates, dance, cardio and core strength training, that will help you reshape your body as you work up a sweat in a high energy and fun class set to music.

Friends Trivia Night

What: PIVOT! Think you know everything about Friends? Monday night, fans of the hit TV show are encouraged to participate in the sixth edition of Friends Trivia. There will be three rounds, with 15 questions each.

Taco Battle

What: Tonight, four Toronto chefs and four Humber College culinary students are teaming up to master one of Toronto’s favourite dishes: the taco. They will combine their skills and knowledge to compete in front of a live audience and a panel of brilliant culinary master judges to create the ultimate taco.
