Woven Wall Hanging: DIY
What: Create your own beautiful, one of a kind, creations. They’re easy to make and full of possibilities. In this class, loom frames are 19 x 21 inches with the finished creation being slightly smaller than that. Weave a picture, using selective areas to weave each colour or you can use the full width for colour blocking awesomeness. They provide yarn in varying thicknesses as well as cotton fabric or knit (t-shirt) strips on hand for you to experiment with.

Play The Parks – The West End Riverboat Band
What: The West End Riverboat Band play a broad repertoire drawing from the last 150-years of music, often in a traditional jazz style. The three-piece group is playing as part of the Play The Parks series today, offering their unique blend of banjo, clarinet, and double bass to spectators for free.

Introduction to Flamenco
What: Learn technique, choreography, rhythm, and expression all starting from square one. A celebratory class and a fabulous workout for the complete beginner taught by Canadian dancer Lia Grainger. Learn why flamenco is such an addictive art form. Students will learn a complete choreography in the “tangos” flamenco palo.
