Toronto's first dog-friendly cafe shutters after only 1 year

Only a year after its doors first opened, Dogs & Coffee has closed up shop.
The pup-friendly cafe, located at 616 Queen Street West, celebrated its grand opening almost one year to the day that it announced its closing on Instagram.

“Thank you for supporting our lil doggie friendly cafe,” the post’s caption reads. “It is closed now and my heart is broken but we tried to do our best.”

While unfortunately, this spot is no longer one to hit when you’re out and about with your pup, there are still a handful of establishments that welcome doggos across the city with open arms and refreshing treats.
