With the month of August just beginning, there is plenty of time to plan some day trips away from the city before summer ends. And, what better way than at the Dahlia May Flower Farm.

The farm is located at 1226 Stockdale RoadĀ in Trenton, about two hours from Toronto, making it the perfect destination for a road trip.

Founded in 2014, the farm is ā€œa small family operation specializing in growing romantic and fragrant, often heirloom, varieties of flowers.ā€

And trust us, their flowers are gorgeous.

Their farmstand is currently open for in-store purchasing Wednesday to Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. They are only accepting debit and credit payments at this time.

You can buy some fresh flowers to brighten up your summer as their inventory is restocked every Sunday night at 7 pm for the upcoming week. They have mason jar arrangements, mixed bouquets and even the classic sunflower bunch.

If you love flowers like we do, you can now also visit The Hanes Corn Maze and Tiny Shop Bakery to explore their eight-acre sunflower maze (and try their fresh baked treats).
