It's going to feel as cold as -23°C in Toronto tonight

Get ready for another chilly night in Toronto.

It looks like it will be dipping way below freezing in the city tonight.

As per this morning’s Extreme Cold Weather Alert, the wild wintery weather continues throughout the day. In fact, temperatures will be dropping close to -12°C this evening, which will feel like -21°C with the wind chill, according to The Weather Network.

As well, Toronto is going to be hit with gusts of wind with speeds of up to 44 km/h.

And overnight, expect the cold to get worse, as the temperature drops to -15°C, which will feel like -23°C.

Thursday morning will remain colder than usual, with a “feels like” temperature of -20°C.

According to the city, “Extreme Cold Weather Alerts” are issued when the temperature is forecast to reach -15ºC or colder, or when the wind chill is forecast to reach -20ºC or colder.

The alert is currently in place until further notice.

So bundle up in all the layers.
