8 international cities you can fly to this weekend for less than Vancouver

With Thanksgiving quickly approaching, many of us will be heading home to spend some quality time with our families.

Hailing from the west coast, I was tempted to book a last minute flight home despite already knowing how expensive flights to Vancouver typically tend to be.

And despite this fact, I still wanted to test my luck and see if I could find a last minute deal. Boy, was I in for a laugh.

I quickly learned that there really is no such thing as a last minute ‘deal’ to Vancouver. And the cost of heading home would end up costing me $1282.36 for a quick four-day visit.

So this got me interested in trying to find other flight deals (at a much lower price point) for the Thanksgiving long weekend. Here’s where I could be going for far cheaper than old YVR:

Toronto to Los Angeles
